a very fun exciting day at comic con http://www.comic-con.org/ in san deigo.
everything was wonderful, bundles and bundles of eye candy.. i finally met the creators of hi-fructose
, annie & atta who are both very talented artists \\ i was absolutely astonished and impressed to learn that together they manage the successful magazine independently! wowowow!
during the signing i had a chance to meet some of the nice people who have been supportive of my work and also for the first time, a few people who have bought work in the past introduced themselves. i felt so shy to actually meet some of them for the first time.. i did not know what to say except thank u, thank u, thank u...
the only thing i regret badly is not having a memory card in my camera. i was so proud of myself for remembering to bring the thing with me, and when i tried to snap photos.. no card. so a disposable cheap camera was my only option. there was so much i wanted to share for those who did not attend.. anyhow, i posted the few most legible pics "here" ... sigh -___- <<

amy, it was SO great to finally meet you. I'll see you at ur show in LA ... i can't wait!!! ur so adorable!! thanks for the print, signing, and flower doodle. =D
Glad you loved Comic-Con. I was by the Hi-Fructose booth but you weren't around! I took some free stuff but was bummed you weren't there. Anyway if you want more pictures, I took some here.
Sounds like you had fun! Turns out my colleagues totally flaked out on me. They didn't stop by to see you and/or pick up a copy of Hi-Fructose --sigh...good help is hard to find. :)

I am SO mad. Distracted by all the, um, distractions at Comic-Con, I totally forgot to seek out Vegas homegirl Amy Sol while I was there.
I'm a bastard, I know.

I'm so disappointed! I just picked up a copy of High Fructose on Friday, found your work, and now wish I'd known about you before SDCC. Your work is incredible and I can't wait to see more of it. Jill  |
